Pros Tip

A par 5 from the yellow tees but a tough 4 from the whites. Favour the right hand side from the tee, although this will add length to your approach shot it will open up the green which is heavily guarded down the left hand side with 3 larger sand traps. A small pond does catch any misjudged lay up shots or weak approaches to the right. The holes that are now numbers 6, 7, 8 and 9 were taken over in August 1942 and ploughed to provide vegetables ‘in the national interest’. The club remained as a 14-hole course until 1946 when a complete reconfiguration took place.
